Vivian Nwogu is a Registered Nurse with many talents and a love for art. Vivian received her Nursing education in Nigeria where she practiced for a few years before relocating to North Cyprus to further her Nursing education in asters in Gynecological Nursing at the Near East University in 2020.

Vivian Nwogu is a Registered Nurse with many talents and a love for art. Vivian received her Nursing education in Nigeria where she practiced for a few years before relocating to North Cyprus to further her Nursing education in asters in Gynecological Nursing at the Near East University in 2020. She recently relaunched her coaching business with “The Alpha Nurse” platform where she coaches millennial Nurses on thriving in the Nursing profession and going beyond the Bedside to become African recognized Healthcare Leaders. Vivian is the Managing Director of 7keema-Nigeria, a mobile application company that provides a platform for Nurses to connect with their clients and promote access to healthcare. Vivian advocates strongly for nurses and their personal development to elevate more nurses to the policymaking table. She is also a member of the advisory board to the Association of Zambian Nurses in America.

Vivian is a philanthropist and has set up two nonprofit organizations. The first, the Pro-Women Safe Sanitary Foundation (PSS Foundation), promotes women’s reproductive health. The PSS Foundation was founded on her personal experiences growing up as a girl with little or nothing to take care of her menstrual health. Through her foundation, Vivian has reached almost 5000 women and girls among eight rural communities, and sixteen secondary schools in different Nigerian states. Vivian is also a co-founder and CEO of Nurse Hub Africa, a Nursing Now Local group focused on raising the profile and status of the nursing profession. With the help of her co-founder and other team members, the organization hosts webinars and personal development events while providing volunteer opportunities for nurses to help them improve and participate in their immediate communities. Nurse Hub Africa has 125 members with upcoming branches in Zambia, Sierra Leone, and Ghana.

Vivian was nominated and selected for the Next Generation Female Leaders for African Women in Leadership Organization, she received an award from the African Women Leaders Network under the category “Excellence in Humanitarian Award”. She has championed online campaigns, like Nurses for Alopecia, Pads For Her, and Break the Silence on Menstruation in conjunction with the Bikers Den Motorcycle Club. Vivian is a self-motivated young nurse and leader and is very passionate about the impact she makes. As COVID-19 hit, Vivian transitioned Nurse Hub Africa to the virtual setting facilitating knowledge sharing by inviting nurses from different countries to share their experiences and speak about the problems they are facing and possible solutions to overcome them. Vivian has also hosted free masterclasses for nurses to teach relevant technology skills for the online environment, as well as a virtual summit on thought leadership in healthcare, Leveraging Technology for Personal and Professional Growth, to empower nurses, develop their professional branding, and facilitate greater nurse-patient interaction. Vivian aims to provide nurses with professional development that expands their medical knowledge to the tech space and understand their value.
