Katherine Jenkins is an exceptional young paediatric nurse, based in London. Following two years of post-registration practice, Ms. Jenkins studied for a Professional Diploma in Tropical Nursing at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). On completion of her diploma, she joined the Global Links Programme of the Royal College Pediatric and Child Health. She spent six months in Myanmar working with four district hospitals. There, she took on a mentor role and supported various hospital improvement projects. Ms. Jenkins was dedicated to building a partnership with the clinicians in Myanmar and supporting health system development and the improvement of pediatric care.
